Master of Social Sciences (Counselling)

The “Social Work and Social Administration- Practice Centre” (SWSA-PC) was set up in November- December 2012 as part of the re-location of the Department from KK Leung Building to the new Centennial Campus. The SWSA-PC seeks to:

Strengthen the training of practice skills (e.g., case conceptualisation, specific therapy/ counselling skills) amongst students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines (e.g., counselling, case work, art therapy, family therapy) in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration.

Enhance the impact and relevance of our research and knowledge exchange through serving the community- the general public and the professionals.

Provide additional research facilities (e.g., interview room, CCTV facility for data collection or participants’ observations) and excel the Department research performance.
