Professionals from charitable foundations, social and civic organisations, corporations, the media, governmental units, welfare and religious service organisations, etc. who wish to equip themselves with the competence needed to be successful and take on leadership roles to make a better society, are welcome. The Programme will help graduates to deliver outstanding service, and to make decisions and carry out research in social development.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications from comparable institutions and preferably have three years of relevant working experience in the public, private or nonprofit sectors. Those with qualifications other than an honours degree will be considered on their individual merits. Qualifying examinations to test the applicants' abilities to follow the prescribed courses and/or interviews may be conducted.

  • a) a score of 563 or above (paper-based test) or 85 or above (internet-based test) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL); or
  • b) a minimum overall band of 6.5 with no subtest lower than 5.5 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); or
  • c) grade C or above in either the Overseas General Certificate of Education, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education, or the Cambridge Test of Proficiency in English Language.

Transcripts, diplomas, certificates and other submitted documents which are not in English should be accompanied by a certified translation in English. Certified translation may be provided by your home institution.
