The HKU-UBS Sustainable and Social Innovation Leadership Programme (SSILP) is co-led by the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, HKU and investment bank UBS. The programme offers a curriculum of 10 lessons plus mentoring sessions to 30 leaders from local NGOs/ social enterprises with the goal to build their capacity and competence. Prof Amy Chow, Dr. Lucy Jordan and Dr. Cheryl Chui are the programme co-directors.
The programme’s Final Pitching Day was successfully held on 22 September. 28 social projects by the participants were presented.
The UBS Champion and The Wofoo Champion were selected. Each champion is entitled to a $400,000HKD project funding:

The event marked the end of the 2023 cycle. Engagement events for alumni will be followed in the rest of the year. Recruitment for the 2024 cohort is expected to start in January 24.
