Tess is the Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration and being the Practicum Coordinator of the Master of Social Sciences (Counselling) Programme. She received her BSW and MSocSc from HKU. Apart from teaching in the programme, her responsibility is to support the practicum arrangement for all counselling students, conduct workshops and lectures, and liaise with host agencies. Before joining the department, Tess had previously worked in various school and youth settings as a frontline social worker, she has experiences in handling family conflicts and addressing children with special education needs.
