Dr. Chan Hoi Yan Vivian is a registered Social Worker and Emotion-Focused practitioner in Hong Kong. As an administrator and educator, she oversees fieldwork placements for Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) students, ensuring they gain practical skills in diverse social work settings.

Over the past years, Dr. Chan has been dedicated to early intervention for young people with early psychosis, working closely with families and carers. She has provided training to promote mental health awareness and knowledge within the community and has fostered mental health and self-compassion among social workers through organizational retreats. Her research interests focus on the impact of parental mental illness on children and young carers.
