Students are required to complete six compulsory courses, two elective courses and dissertation or two additional elective courses.

*(1) Students can take as electives courses from both the core and elective courses in other fields of study under the Master of Social Sciences in Behavioral Health, Counselling, Gerontology, Mental Health, Social Service Management and Social Work – Integrated Practice with Young People Stream Programmes. Approval from the respective Programme Directors is needed.

(2) Not all elective courses will necessarily be offered in a given year.
